Road to Indonesia---MAF film: To the Ends of the Earth

 We are in the midst of omicron infections.  This past week grades 2, 5, 7, and 10 have been sent home at various times and for various periods.  So we are doing hybrid teaching, with part of the students online and half in front of us.  But next week we are going straight online.  This is a special preventive measure however. Our high school students are scheduled to go on their 2 weeks Outdoor Education (OE) starting February 28.  If we are all in school and one student tests postive, no one can get on the plane to go to the interior. However, if the students have been sheltering at home, and test positive, only the student that tests positive can't go. 

 The OE program is an integral and important experience at our school.  I would challenge any US school to have an equivalent. The students go to a remote mission station.  They fly in and then hike for hours and hours to get to even more remote villages.  They present Vacation Bible School program, an A.I.D.s prevention piece, and this time they are also going to do a bit of work in lengthening the airstrip into this station.  It is a station manned by parents to two sisters that attend our school.  I know one of them very well, a tenth grader I teach for Modern World History and Sophmore English. You have seen my posts about the Dem and evangelism efforts in the past year that has resulted in over 70 conversions.  The post that the Bible teachers come from is where they are going!

I will attach the url for this film.  Please, just even watch the trailer and you will be blessed.  Rent the whole film if you are lead.  I want you to do this so you can intelligently  pray for our kids.  This is a life changing experience.  They need the spiritual growth this brings.  The station to which they are going will be helped.  But this comes through your prayers for safety and negative covid tests.
